Rising Stars - SATs preparation

Many of you have asked for advice on how you might help your children in preparation for their SATs. A company called Rising Stars, whose materials we often use in school, have produced an App for iPad, iPod or iPhone which is designed to help with revision. It includes over

200 interactive questions covering all the content required for level 4. Children often seem more inclined to do extra revision if it involves the use of any electronic device!

Should you be interested in this app, it is available for £3.99 from the following web address:

Yours sincerely

Parking and driving issues - Hackbridge Corner

We have had a visit from the Police Community Officers regarding the problems being faced at Hackbridge Corner with dangerous driving and inconsiderate parking both at school drop off and pick up times each day.  Officers will be stationed in the area at these times.

Please can you bear this in mind if you are driving to the school and ensure you find a suitable place to park safely in the surrounding area?  Also, the officers have witnessed cars driving over the pavement areas to avoid the junction.  We have been asked to let you know that on the spot fines are being imposed.

Yours sincerely

Even more mural art

During the Summer holidays our mural artist, Sarah, was back to continue making our school even more exciting. We have added healthy eating and sports pictures in the corridor near the Sports Hall and a timeline from Nursery to Year 6 showing pictures of all the new class names. Here are a few of the images so you can enjoy them too.
