PGL - Update Day 1 - Monday 6th November 2017

A great first day! Kids really enjoyed Brooklands exploring planes, buses and cars! Then a pleasant journey into PGL ... just in time for a site tour and dinner! Fish and chips 😀

Then Ambush... hide and seek in the deep dark woods!!!! Good news - we all survived and was tucked up in bed by 10 pm...

No sun yet .... but hoping for a pleasant day weather wise!

Fundraising Meeting - We Need Your Help

Dear Parents/Carers

We would like to invite you to join us for our first fundraising meeting for this term. We will be meeting after school at 3.30pm on Tuesday 31st October in Toucans class. The children can come along as they normally sit in a classroom next door watching a movie whilst we meet. We need all the help we can get so we can arrange some fun activities and events for the children in the lead up to Christmas. The children have asked for a disco which we love to run but need adult help to do so.

The more parents we get to help the easier the jobs become and the more we can do for the children so please come along and find out how you can help.

Yours sincerely

Parent/Teacher Consultations Autumn 2017

Dear Parents/Carers

The school will be holding Parent/Teacher Consultations on Wednesday 1st November 2017 between 3.30pm and 8.30pm (last appointment will be 8.20pm). Children are required to attend school, as normal, on this day.

Appointments are ten minutes in length and your child’s teacher will discuss with you how your child is progressing with the learning and their next steps. Sign-up sheets will be available at your child’s dismissal point after school from Wednesday 18th October for you to sign up for an appointment.

We respectfully remind you that one appointment is available per child, in line with the information on the ‘Parent/Teacher Consultations’ page under the ‘Parents’ tab of the school website and that where both parents/carers of a child wish to attend, this must be to the same appointment.

For Reception to Year 6, Parent/Teacher Consultations, please enter the school via the Infant and Junior playgrounds for all appointments. For Nursery Parent/Teacher Consultations, please enter via the Nursery entrance. Please note there is no entry or exit via the School Office.

Nursery learning journey folders will be displayed in the Nursery and appointments with children’s Key Person will take place in the Nursery.

Reception learning journey folders and KS1 books will be displayed in the KS1 hall and the teachers will be grouped together in year groups in the surrounding classrooms.

KS2 teachers will be in the Sports Hall.  Year 5 and 6 books will be outside the Sports Hall and Year 3 and 4 books will be in the Sports Hall.

Please note there will be no access to classrooms.

Please arrive in good time for your appointment in order that you can look at your child’s books before you meet with the teacher.

If you have any further questions, please contact your child’s class teacher.

Yours sincerely
