HPS Fundraising

The HPS Fundraising Team is an important part of our community. If you are a parent of a pupil at our school you are an automatic member.

Each year the team work very hard to organise events to not only provide the school with vital extra funds but to provide the community with an opportunity to come together and have fun.

Towards the end of the Autumn term each year we hold a Winter Bazaar. We have also previously held a summer 'Party in the Playground' and May Fayres. Throughout the year, the team organise 'Juice Bar Discos' or other 'entertainer' events which are very popular with the children. The team rely on volunteers from within the parental body to be able to run these activities.

Money raised by the team goes towards funding 'extras' for the school; in recent times this has included the new pond and ecology area adjacent to the Nursery garden, a £10,000 contribution towards The Sports Zone in the KS2 playground and a contribution towards the installation of new interactive whiteboards in the classrooms. Every year, the team also contribute £2 per child towards a school trip for the year, which teachers can use to help keep down the cost of the voluntary contribution required by parents for an activity.

We look forward to your support throughout your child's time at Hackbridge.
